about me
I am an empathetic filmmaker who makes distinctive personal stories. I believe collaboration is key when filmmaking and am naturally drawn to telling both big and small human stories with heart, humor and cinematic flare. My passion is to tell meaningful intriguing stories. I have over 15 years experience in film and broadcast TV. I have also taught editing short courses at leading film schools such as Sydney Film School, AFTRS and The European Film College and have a Master of Arts in Documentary Editing and Animation. An Australian who now calls Breda, The Netherlands, home. I am available for hire as an editor and 2D animator.

My work has a high emotional impact. My purpose as an editor and animator is to push the creative boundaries of my craft in my own film making and while collaborating with others. I do this by asking the central question… does this action serve the story?  My creative solutions help you to see another angle to your material. My over view of the story means I am great on structure while my attention to detail is exceptional as I am a bit of a perfectionist. I will see your project through to the end offering valuable support and ideas right through post production from offline editing to online, grading and the sound mix. Long hours in the edit suit can be intense. Directors who work with me often comment on the ease of working with me under pressure ("you're not one of those grumpy editors!") I am a very dedicated and enthusiastic person to work with.
