Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team of twelve sound and video technicians. The AVM department produces audio and video content for National Opera & Ballet. This content includes multi-camera shooting of complete performances, trailers of performances, films about the production process of performances, films about our artists and employees, radio broadcasts and podcasts, audio and video commercials and archive shooting.

The AV coordinator's main responsibility is organizing the technical side of the video and audio content production process. You supervise this process from creation and production to post-production and broadcast. In consultation with the various creative teams, you put together the most suitable crew, arrange the right (broadcast) equipment and resources, make the planning and organize post-production in order to achieve the best results.

We think it is important that you have knowledge of audio, video and broadcast equipment, different audio and video formats and that you are familiar with video and audio editing software and (post) production schedules and processes. You are the discussion partner with our clients regarding the content to be produced and their issues. You do not have to come up with the directing concepts yourself, but we think it is important that you have a great affinity with this phase and that you can discuss this well with our creative teams.

What do we offer?

Job requirements / profile
- a relevant HBO or WO education in media or film production or demonstrable
similar and relevant knowledge for this position;
- at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
- good overview of often complex plans and schedules;
- collegial, enthusiastic, solution-oriented and stress-resistant;
- customer-oriented and strong communication skills;
- its own network of freelancers;
- good knowledge of the English language;
- being able to read sheet music and scores is an advantage.
