Leon's first International assignment came with the start of his acting career when he was offered to play a role in a Swiss chocolate commercial. Then Black Book by Paul Verhoeven, followed by a rare success story on the Dutch talk show called 'Jensen' which caused nationwide commotion and a radio interview broadcasted by one of Holland's most popular radio stations about this event.

In the meanwhile being noticed on YouTube by an American filmmaker, Leon was invited to Los Angeles to shoot a feature film. They offered him a co-lead role as the Deputy Director of the CIA. Leon's debut took place on the red carpet premiere at Sony Pictures Studios, Culver City. Once back in Amsterdam, Leon auditioned successfully for a role next to Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce and Paul Anderson in the International masterpiece Brimstone, which smashed all records by winning 6 Golden Calf Awards (the Dutch version of the Oscars)

Leon started his career as an extra in 2004.
Recently he started to give acting workshops to help people overcome their insecurities and to help them to find their ambitions. Besides these workshops, he will return to shoot his 4th film in Hollywood soon.
